Youth Artist program
There are several Youth Artist positions available each year to percussionists who are Black, Indigenous, Hispanic, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, Queer, and/or women entering grades 6-12.
NDCP Youth Artists will benefit from the knowledge, experiences, and resources of our Professional Members and Emerging Artists. The NDCP will assess audition applications based on the player’s potential for growth, their individual need for the resources available, and the quality of their playing and preparation relative to their grade. The NDCP invites both younger players at the beginning of their training as well as advanced players to apply.
